Application Process

Eligibility

The ICCA Association Impact Masterclass is open to all senior association leaders from the international associations that meet the following criteria (one attendee per organisation) on a first come first served basis:

  • You organise events over 500 participants in size,
  • Your events are held on a regular basis and must rotate globally,
  • You are a decision maker or main influencer on the choice of destination for your events,
  • You have not registered for the BestCities Global Forum 2025, and
  • You have or will sign up for the BestCities Madrid Challenge.

Who Should Attend?

Targeted at association leaders in senior positions, such as:

  •  CEOs or General Secretaries
  • Division Directors: Strategy, Innovation, Membership Services, Government Affairs, Chapter Relations, Meetings/Education, Foundation.

  • Key Board Members


Fees

BestCities Global Alliance will cover the following: 

  • the registration fee
  • 3 nights of accommodation at the official hotel on 26-28 January 2025
  • meals on 26-28 January 2025
  • social activities

1. Associations will be responsible for their own travels, transfers, visa (if applicable) and expenses. 

2. A cancellation fee of USD 250 will be charged by BestCities Global Alliance to cover costs incurred for accommodation if cancellation of participation is made after 1 November 2024.

3. Please note that places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. A waitlist system (no fees required) will be implemented when the the registration reaches 16 pax. 


Visa

  • Dublin Convention Bureau will assist with an invitation letter for your visa application to Ireland only.
  • Please contact Nigel Brown (nigel@bestcities.net) if you require an invitation letter to apply for your visa to enter Ireland.
  • Associations are responsible for their visa applications and the associated costs. 
  • Please ensure you have obtained your visa before booking your flights. ICCA and BestCities Global Alliance will not be liable for flight costs if visa is not granted.

Attendance

  • Participants are expected to attend the entire ICCA Association Impact Masterclass, starting early evening of Sunday, 26 January 2025 and concluding in the evening of Tuesday, 28 January 2025.
  • Certificate of Accomplishment will only be issued to associations with 100% attendance rate.
