Annleyg Lamhauge 

Meetings & Events Manager, Visit Faroe Islands

Annleyg Lamhauge is the manager for Meetings & Events at Visit Faroe Islands. She has a Master degree in International business, language and culture from the University of Southern Denmark. She has extensive experience in marketing and communication and has worked at Visit Faroe Islands with meetings and events for the last 10 years. She has been a pioneer in the work with meetings and events in the Faroe Islands, from founding the meeting partner network including airline, venues, hotels and DMC/PCO’s, improving the business events skills as well as developing the marketing and branding for the destination. 

She has also established the Ambassador Network, where 100+ local champions are eager to host meetings bringing in knowledge and network to the small island nation. Her passion lies in the power of conferences and meetings, how they can change our perspective and be a force for good.


Brim Hildardóttir Hoydal

Meetings & Events Project Manager, Visit Tórshavn

Brim is the Project Manager at Visit Tórshavn for meetings and events. She has a Master degree in Tourism Management from the University of Aalborg and has extensive work experience from Visit Tórshavn and Visit Faroe Islands both in Information Services and in the Development department. She has emphasized on many development projects, that have empowered various parties of the tourism industry. To name an example, she has worked on a project with the churches in the Faroe Islands and has empowered small communities around the islands to open their church and show it to the public outside of service hours. 

 Her passion lies in the empowerment of communities and the outreach and legacy meetings and events can bring to a destination. Visit Tórshavn and Visit Faroe Islands collaborate on all meetings activities and have a joint Convention Bureau called Visit Faroe Islands Meetings. Brim joined the meetings team earlier this year.


Bo Krüger

Meeting Designer, Facilitator and Speaker - Moving Minds

Bo Krüger is prize-winning and international renown Meeting Designer, moderator and keynote speaker. Bo is the owner of Moving Minds, a consultancy that helps clients design and facilitate better meeting and events. His main focus is on creating more meaningful, engaging and fun meetings both virtual, in-person and hybrid.  Bo has previously worked as an innovation consultant at the Danish Institute of Technology and as a senior Management Consultant in Implement Consulting Group. He has worked in and with many associations and has experience from clients in more than 25 countries. He has written books on facilitation, gamification and creativity and won the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Danish Meeting and Events Awards. Bo is based in Copenhagen, likes kayaking, wintherbathing and bikes every day to work.


Frances van Klaveren, CAE

Community Engagement Manager - International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA)

Frances van Klaveren joined ICCA as the Community Engagement Manager in January 2021, focussing on developing and engaging with the ICCA Association Community. 

Frances became a Certified Association Executive through the ASAE in 2020 and has 15+ years’ experience in international programme management, membership engagement and volunteer management, working for non-profit associations including the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Biochemical Society in London, UK. Frances is passionate about working with association professionals and other stakeholders within the meetings industry. 

She also has a keen interest in regenerative and sustainable leadership and young professional engagement, and currently works on projects within ICCA including the Future Leaders Council and Net Zero Carbon Events.



Gérald Howard

Senior Project Development Manager, Promotion & Sales, Lausanne Montreux Congress

American, French, Italian, lived in Africa, Asia, Europe, America is commonly a citizen of the world. A UN’ background on field, and a specialist in Sociology (Intercultural Communication), with more than 25 years of experience in the domain of events,  Gerald has structured his professional experiences with the 3 pillars of the MICE world: PCO, international Associations and Convention Bureau. An added value to understand our world and its mechanism.

Gerald enjoys at most to share with others and to follow the principle of Legacy-

One of the reason why today while working for  LMC (Lausanne Montreux Congress) he is teaching in a tourism school and creates strong relationship  with his clients to create innovative and impactful events that prod us into thinking and leave a mark on all. Share and you will be!
