Dimitri Belov, an experienced expert in the field of health marketing, MICE and tourism has been serving as the Head of Health Marketing at Düsseldorf Convention since March 1, 2022.
Previously, he has held various positions with the Office of Economic Development as well as with the Office of International Affairs of the state capital Düsseldorf and has worked for a local marketing agency. He had been with Visit Düsseldorf since 2016, most recently acting as the Deputy Head of the Market Development Department.
In his role, Dimitri Belov focuses on healthcare congresses: at the intersection of Visit Düsseldorf and Düsseldorf Convention, Dimitri Belov is responsible for acquiring healthcare and medical events. His goal is to bring professional congresses from the medical and healthcare field to Düsseldorf and to support event planners before, during and after their event in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Furthermore, Dimitri Belov is deeply involved in the topic of health tourism. He works on positioning Düsseldorf as an attractive destination for medical travellers.
Annette Walz
Director of Innovation & Community, Düsseldorf Congress
Annette Walz is Director of Innovation & Community at Düsseldorf Congress. She designs content and partnerships for future-driven formats like the Navigator Festival, focusing on innovation, AI, and digital transformation.
Her career includes roles at Handelsblatt Media Group and PUMA, where she gained deep expertise in communication and live experiences. She connects business, science, and society to create platforms for collaboration, learning, and progress.
Jenny is a multilingual Association and Meetings expert with over 25 years’ experience working in the not for profit, public and corporate sectors.
Her experience ranges from managing events for 10-5000 delegates to designing and implementing event and marketing strategies, conducting feasibility studies for organizations and guiding Associations through periods of change and crisis.
Jenny has worked for organizations in Italy, Luxembourg, Belgium, UK and for Global Associations. Since 2023, she has held the position of Director of Meetings and Events at the International society of Nephrology (ISN).
Jenny is a real ‘people person’ and is passionate about the work of Associations. She is fascinated by the crucial role that events play in the life of Associations and how all elements of an Association's life link together.
Jenny holds a MA (hons) Degree in European Languages from the University of Edinburgh and a diploma in Marketing from Manchester Metropolitan University. In addition to English as her mother tongue, she speaks fluent French, fluent Italian and intermediate Spanish.
Outside of work, Jenny loves to travel, explore, spend time in nature and do sports. Horse riding, SUP boarding and swimming being her top 3!. Another passion is gastronomy especially if someone else is cooking!
Jenny is originally from the Lake District in the UK but lives in Brussels with husband and daughter Zoe.
Debbie Roepe serves as the Executive Director of the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease (ISSVD), a global leader in advancing understanding and treatment of vulvovaginal conditions. She graduated from the University of Florida and has dedicated over two decades to managing and directing all Society business for the ISSVD and their North American Chapter.
She has organized and implemented the last 11 international world congresses, in addition to the accompanying postgraduate courses, and multiple international educational programs all aimed at enriching the academic landscape for vulvovaginal disease experts worldwide.
Her experience includes administrative and financial oversight, board & membership communications, strategic planning, in addition to coordinating, implementing and managing all live and online events, webinars and meetings.
