Seoul's transportation includes Buses, Taxis, Subways and bicycles. For the bicycles, the Seoul Metropolitan Government launched a public bike-sharing service in 2015 called Seoul Bikes (“Ddareungi” in Korean). It was designed to be a self-operating rental service that could be used conveniently by anyone. Seoul Bikes are a great way to travel distances that are a bit too far to walk, but a bit too close to bother with public transportation or a taxi.
Subway: Using the extensive subway network of Seoul is the most efficient way of getting around the city. Color-coded subways lines and multilingual signs and announcements help foreign travelers use the subway system with ease. Consistently voted one of the best subway systems in the world, the Seoul Metro is not only safe, clean, and easy to use, but has features in almost every station and train that improve accessibility and comfort for customers with visual, hearing, and mobility disabilities.
