ICCA 60th Congress CSR Initiatives

ICCA strives every year to provide an opportunity for members attending ICCA Congress to give back to the local community. Our annual support of a local cause or charity organisation aims to leave a deeper legacy beyond a purely economic or tourism impact.

For the 60th Congress, ICCA’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment to Cartagena and Colombia will benefit El Colegio del Cuerpo.

Founded in 1997, in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia by two dancers, choreographers and pedagogues, Álvaro Restrepo (Colombia) and Marie Delieuvin (France), El Colegio del Cuerpo (eCdC) is a pioneer in artistic education in the country and the world. The organisation has contributed to the artistic, professional and human development of 8,500 children and adolescents from vulnerable populations of the city. The programme has two strategies: training students in dance technique and using dance education as a powerful method for physical and mental health and wellbeing. The organisation is currently developing a new centre to expand operations in Cartagena. You can support their efforts by donating.
