Meet the Speakers
Gregg Talley

Session: Future Proofing Associations and Their Meetings
Gregg and his father founded TMG in 1987. TMG has provided association management and consulting services to national and international associations for over 33 years. In addition, TMG provides major event and citywide convention planning for clients across the U.S. and around the globe working as a core PCO.
In 2016, Gregg helped launch the African Society of Association Executives. He also provides training and education across the continent to African association leaders on a pro bono basis. In 2018, Gregg launched association management company joint ventures in Africa, based in Nairobi, Kenya and Delhi, India.
Gregg serves on many destination, national and international advisory boards and is active in speaking and writing about industry issues. He is a past National Chair of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and former International Convention and Congress Association (ICCA) member and Treasurer.
Dianna Steinbach

Dianna Steinbach is the Programming Chair and Board member for the European Society of Association Executives (ESAE).
She has managed international associations for more than 20 years and has been involved with exhibitions in the US, Africa, Australia, Italy, Mexico, Spain, and Russia, as well as symposiums in China, India and Thailand.
For the last 19 years, Steinbach has focused on helping trade associations and exhibition providers identify new trends, strategically plan, develop business alliances, connect with customers and position themselves for the greatest success.
She is a faculty member for the Membership Marketing School and has been a member of the IBTM World Association Leaders Forum Advisory Board. Steinbach also has been a speaker for the International Congress and Conventions Association (ICCA), Dubai Association Forum, UFI Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, IMEX Association Focus Conference and other international association and event leadership events.

Gary Grimmer
GainingEdge is a global consulting firm focused on associations, destinations, convention bureaus, convention centres, destination sales representation and market research.
Gary has consulted on over 100 projects in all parts of the world and was one of the lead consultants on Destination Next, a global study for Destinations International (DI) which defined the future of destination marketing. He is a former Chairman of the Board of DI and was one of the first six inductees into the inaugural DI Hall of Fame in 2014. He also received the Asia Pacific IMEX Academy Award in 2007.
Stylianos Filopoulos
Stylianos Filopoulos is an association leader and has spearheaded several national and international associations, partnerships, and campaigns. He is known for his work in leading the wine business international social responsibility movement, as well as the European Society of Association Executives (ESAE) Programme during the pandemic.
Currently, he is working as a consultant on strategic marketing and partnerships. He excels in building trust, mobilising cross-cultural teams and complex stakeholder networks and he likes to help people and organisations find their purpose and drive sustainable change.
